Theory of Aging
2. It has been shown that supplement of some nutrients to mitochondria can repair
mitochondrial damage, improve memory, increase energy, and ameliorate symptoms of
Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and diabetes.

Why do people age?
The few greatest breakthroughs are the animal cloning and the mechanism of aging in last
century. It is becoming clear that the reason for aging is the decay of mitochondrion. It leads to
human aging and degeneration; the most significant characters are memory decline, energy
insuffienct and onset of age-associated disease. Scientists have further identified that the
mechanism of mitochondrial decay and dysfunction is due to insufficient synthesis of energy,
imbalance of mitochondrial re-dox reactions, and lack of raw materials for synthesizing
memory-related neurotransmitter, such as acetylcholine. These findings provide right direction
for scientists to discover dietary supplements and drugs for improving memory and slowing
aging and age-related diseases.
1. Electron microscopic observation showed that mitochondria decay with age, You can seem
how big the difference between young and old mitochondria from the figure. It is the
mitochondrial decay which causes cellular aging and is the main cause of human aging.
3. Brain is the center of humans for thinking, memorizing, and coordinating the whole body’s
activity, therefore, it is more critical to prevent brain from damage and to delay its aging
than other organs. The figure below shows clearly you can delay aging rate and the
disease onset age if you pay more attention to your health.
